Kerry’s Bouqcakes features in Vogue Paris

Over the years that I have been running Kerry’s Bouqcakes, I have been incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to feature in various cake, craft, wedding and fashion magazines. I have written articles on my business or been interviewed in a Q&A style piece. It still feels so surreal when I see my work printed either in hard copy or posted online. I’m really a one-woman band and don’t have a huge team behind me like a lot of other cake businesses that get mentioned in magazines do. I mean don’t get me wrong I have my absolutely wonderful family around me encouraging me and helping out in various areas of the business. Luckily my Mum has good IT skills so I don’t have to worry about the website as she has that in hand along with my web host. My hubby helps me with sieving icing sugar and making up cake boxes not to mention childcare. You will have heard me mention Chloe who is part-time but invaluable and does some of my Marketing and Admin. However, the daily management is all on my shoulders!

I was extremely lucky to be approached on Instagram (please do follow me if you don’t already by clicking here) by editor Marie Perier who is a journalist at Vogue Paris to offer me a spotlight article focusing on my cupcake work for the wedding industry. Marie emailed me over a selection of questions and chose some of her favourite images of my cakes from my Instagram feed and compiled the article which has been titled ‘Here is the Instagram account that teaches you how to make floral cupcakes for your ceremonies’ and was posted a few weeks ago. My husband did say he had always dreamt of being with a Vogue girl. Well now you know dreams can come true. (LOL)

The interview looks at the perfect way to set up your wedding cakes on your special day and so is a great read for any engaged couples out there or just those that love looking at displays of beautiful flowers but mine are edible! If you would like to read the article for yourselves then please find the article on the Vogue Paris website here.

Don’t forget if you wish to learn how to pipe the perfect buttercream flower for yourself, whether you’re a hobby baker, or a baking pro then you can view my online tutorials on this website or just click here to take you straight to my tutorials page.

If you would like to collaborate with me please feel free to direct message me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, via my website or in an email kerrysbouqcakes@gmail.com

Thank you for reading and until next time, take care and stay safe!
