Let’s Talk Trolls
The internet has changed the world forever and has bought us so many positive and wonderful things. It has expanded our world bringing to us so much we would have missed before.
For me, it has given me an amazing audience from across the world who support and encourage me every single day. It has given me the global reach to share my passion for teaching my craft worldwide. It allows me to share images of my work with no limitations on who can see it. I love the feedback which is a two-way street on the feel-good factor. If it makes my followers smile, it in return makes me feel happy.
Unfortunately, the downside is that the internet has made it possible for negativity to also reach your inbox and that’s what I want to talk about in this blog as it affects so many people in different ways.
Let’s talk about trolls…..

The Proof Is In The Pudding
I don’t know about you, but when I’m looking to make a purchase whether it is online, or from a store, I always spend some time browsing through reviews to help me make a decision on whether to complete my purchase or not. I like to know that the item or service I am purchasing is from a reputable business and that I won’t be disappointed with my order or experience.
I take great pride when a student leaves me a positive review either on social media or via Google Reviews after they have purchased an online tutorial, or have been to have a lesson with me in person.
If you’ve been thinking for a while now about booking a class with me, from my location in Norfolk, UK; or possibly choosing a tutorial to learn via my website then I wanted to make it super easy for you to read some recent genuine reviews from people just like you!
As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me, whether that’s via this website, or a DM via social media.

Autumn has arrived
Autumn is on its way. The leaves are starting to turn from green to an amazing array of rich reds and russets. The blackberries are ripening and ready to pick. There is nothing my children love more going out picking tubs of them and come back with black tongues from the all the ones that don’t make it to the tub. It is also about making memories for them to treasure when they are adults. I look back fondly to picking blackberries with my grandparents and then helping make blackberry and apple crumble. There are not many things these days you can get for free so this is a real bonus.

Summer Sun and Buttercream
It seems such an age since my last blog. Where has all that time gone?
Here in the UK, we have been enjoying some amazing Summer sun. For those of you who live in the UK, this is really exciting to have more than one sunny day at a time, without a deluge of rain in between. The lack of rain has been a bit of a challenge with hosepipe bans, and some field fires but we have been luckier than many countries that have been beset with vast fires raging in the countryside. My thoughts go out to them.
You all know by now I love my fresh flowers but my garden is really looking very sad at the moment with wilted plants despite me getting out my watering can. I don’t think my flowers in their current state will give me much inspiration for new projects.
Buttercream has also been a challenge in this hot weather. I know some of you from hotter climates have already worked out how to manage the heat and share this knowledge with others on my VIP Cake Community to help new pipers. I thank you all for your generosity of spirit. This spirit really is what makes my cake community so very special to me and all of the other members.
